Marvin “Chanz” Parkman and Anthony “Tony” Parkman have combined talents to create the duo “The Parkmans”. Chanz and Tony have music careers that span over decades and have achieved major accolades as writers, producers, singers and musicians. Collectively Chanz and Tony have written, produced and performed for several major artists to include the legendary Freddie Jackson, Keith Sweat, Boyz II Men, OutKast, Natalie Cole, the Isley Brothers, Patti LaBelle, Glen Jones, Anthony Hamilton, Angie Stone, Charlie Wilson and many more. Organized Noize signed Chanz as a producer and writer and he was an integral part in the development of the historic cornerstone, The Dirty South Sound. Achieving four Grammys as a musician. Chanz has worked on great projects to include the Olympic CD, Barak Obama Presidential Inauguration CD and many more.
With Tony’s smooth vocals and Chanz happy fingers on the keys, the brother duo has been a force in music with experience also including co-writing and producing the platinum smash on Keyshia Cole’s titled “Work It Out” and working with Dallas Austin and the legendary Natalie Cole in which credits include writing “5 Minutes Away” on Natalie’s “Leavin” album. The brothers have traveled the world making a host of appearances on major talk shows and television networks all across America. Most recent project is a song co-written with (ONP) Ray Murray, Ceelo Green, Big Boi from (Outkast) and Sleepy Brown called “Intentions” which has reached the top 10 on the 2019 R&B charts. “The Parkmans” are currently working on a new releases that incorporates several genres of music to include Country, Pop, and Soul.
